Some of my brothers have found love, but I’m still flying solo.
I’m a medic and I love my job. Looking after others is in my blood.
Going to bed knowing I saved someone’s life is satisfying, but the sheets are still cold and I’m still alone.
Sometimes I wonder if things will stay that way. Finding someone who’s willing to put up with our career choice is pretty damn rare.
I’ve resigned myself to that. Until I met Claire and my whole life implodes.

But then she died, leaving me with no choice but to fulfil a promise.
A mission I never thought I’d have to do.
